The Coon-Sanders Nighthawks

The Coon-Sanders Nighthawks were a popular American jazz band in the 1920s and early 1930s. Led by Joe Sanders and Carleton Coon, they were known for their energetic performances and pioneering radio broadcasts, which helped popularize jazz music across the United States. The band's style was a blend of hot jazz, dance music, and novelty songs, and they achieved great success during their time, particularly in the Midwest.
