Screaming Headless Torsos

Screaming Headless Torsos or SHT is a genre defying rock band formed in 1989 consisting of founding member and guitarist David Fiuczynski, vocalist Freedom Bremner, bassist David Ginyard, percussionist Daniel Sadownick, and the alternating drum chair of Gene Lake and Skoota Warner. The band's music mixes and mashes guitar driven rock, jazz, hip-hop, funk, soul, r&b, reggae, and drum and bass grooves and concepts, along with future shock percussion, improvisation, acrobatic vocals, and most recently eastern microtonal influences. SHT's original line up was guitarist David Fiuczynski, vocalist Dean Bowman, bassist Fima Ephron, percussionist Daniel Sadownick, and drummer Jojo Mayer (Nerve).
