David MacKenzie

David MacKenzie is a singer-songwriter based out of Victoria, BC. While still living on the east coast, David released his debut EP, as well as 6 other singles, between 2019 and 2020, and 2021 shows no signs of slowing down! With multiple projects already in the works, it’s set to be another full year of music! As a listener, David loves honesty and authenticity in lyrics, and he strives for the same in his own music. A lot of David’s early music influences were Christian worship artists, which has had a heavy influence on the very melody-driven, lyric-first writing style that he’s come to have. Other artists that David has been compared to (to varying degrees, for varying reasons) are: Ben Rector, Anson Seabra, Jake Scott, Gavin James, Niall Horan, and Troy Bolton.
