Verse 1
In Colorado the sun is beaming high.
Over Lakes and Grassey Plains.
And the mountains high in the sky.
And the deep valley floor.

Refrain
I hear the roaring waters
And the whistling winds through trees
Ah, Ah
Ah

Verse 2
In Colorado I see the snowy mounts.
And the flat prairie land.
And I watch the mountain goat running free.
As the mountain lion sleeps.

Refrain
I see the rows of flowers
And the rocky hills beyond
Ah, Ah
Ah

Verse 3
I see the rows of wheat grow’n wild.
And the long green grass.
I hear the birds that are singing
And all the dark deep canyons
Ah, Ah
Ah

Verse 4
In Colorado the wind is blow’n strong
And the northern winds are cold.
And there’s the animals of the thick forest wall.
And the burning campfires bright.
