Patrick Dimon

Konstantynos Kazakos (Vathi, June 6, 1946), artistically known as Patrick Dimon, is a Greek singer and composer, living in Brazil. He started his career as a child, singing sacred music in Orthodox churches in his hometown Vathi, on the island of Samos, the same place where the philosopher and mathematician Pythagoras and the astronomer Aristarchus were born. His father was a consular representative and traveled frequently, one of these destinations being some countries in Latin America, including Brazil. His first recording took place in 1969, a simple compact (vinyl) released by ODEON, containing the song “Las Amorosas”, in Argentina, in Spanish. Interprets songs in eight languages: Greek, Spanish, Portuguese, English, French, Italian, Hebrew and Armenian. The best known song in his career is Pigeon Without a Dove, an adaptation of an aria from the classic O Guarani by Carlos Gomes. The song was the subject of Rede Globo's soap opera Pai Herói, in 1979. Another prominent song is "Eternal Love", from the soap opera Os Rico also cry, on SBT. He won gold, platinum and diamond records for selling records.
