The Juicy Juice

Formed in 2015, "The Juicy Juice" is Vincent Rolland (aka "excess") and Michael Evans. "Holly's creepy night" is the first step of the band; it is a five tracks E.P., on which we find a remix of the main track by the artist Nannue Tipitier ( usually works into "minimal" music style ). The album is announced for January, a demo was put online in June. During the project, the band met Pedro Winter, manager of Ed Banger Records. Unfortunately, Pedro didn't sign any artist since some years. So, it's decide to self-produce the album in its entirety. A second mix is scheduled, entitled "excess mix", and directed by excess after discharge of "Holly's creepy night". Vincent's dealing with the graphics for all visuals. The importance of the 80's plays a key role in the project; one finds among other winks to the Michael Mann's serie "Miami Vice", the music channel MTV or the 8/16 bit era of video games. Michael got influences which come mainly from breakdance, hip hop, but also R&n'B or rock. He takes the place of the lead singer, and helped in the writing of songs. In addition to music, Michael is pursuing a film career, through movies such as "lowlife". Vincent bathed in electronic music as techno from Detroit, acid house or chicago house music. Also influenced by rock, industrial music, new wave and hip hop. He write the songs and lyrics with Michael, but most of the time by himslef. He do the arrangements, mixing, and production. Next to The Juicy Juice, he continues his solo project, excess, started in 2012. It includes a series of demos, remixes and featuring. The song "Never leave" featuring the british singer Tara Toxic were used for an advertising, and a remix of the song "Time to go" by American artist Kwanza Jones worth a followed by BBC One as "new talent". In 2014, he released an album on itunes, "excess inside" which includes most of the songs produced between 2012 and 2014. Recently, the single “E.B.E.” taken place on his new channel “excess TV” with a movie i realised for it, then an experimental live DJ set called “0 mix”. A new E.P. is actually out for excess project, called "Without you" and including video clip.
