Well-rounded artist born and raised in Saint Louis county, Neah Barnhart picked the name Fluid because of her multifaceted artsy style. Fluid is a poet, singer, rapper, songwriter and painter. Fluid started writing poetry at 13 and performed her first poem at the age of 16 at The Legacy Books and Café. She joined the US Navy at 18 but did not let that stop her artistic journey. She continued writing and performing poetry throughout her 4 year term. After returning home from the Navy, Fluid started voice lessons and began writing music. Along with her many passions in art, she is also a community activist currently earning a degree in Social Work at UMSL. She aspires to open a wellness center where she can practice art therapy, yoga, and natural healing. She uses her art to express herself and to spread positivity that her fans can feel.
