30th Century Child

The easy, fast & fun way to learn how to sing: 30DaySinger.com
Faceless dreams and fears, could they lead over the frame of fadeless ash and tears ? These windows of pain… With confused drawings on their foggy glass of shame. As the time reveals the view Behind the mist and breeze The steps and proofs that we’ve stood Are wrapped dead by the greed of this cold age. When nothing matters at the edge all secrets end. Childhoods in the flames, all futures lost in the rains. Is it to realize there could be one last empty page ? Abased to satisfy The brainwashed, fake potentials Should we still err, and stare, as if we didn’t care ? Or wake ourselves to brave the unfair ? Disgraced to glorify A main cause that resigned far Should we be proud to ride this path we cannot guide ? And keep ourselves outwards of what is bright ? Explore, don't grieve what is to crave Comply to what is pure Disclose that they wish underplayed Our aims they say assured Disguised, we mourn in lies Confined, gently being sacrificed Is there a price, such high, for which now we should die In vain, restrained from screaming loud ? Why more ? can’t they hear « save me » ? Imploring what is wrong Above, beyond what they can’t see Once more, it’s left alone. It’s blind, confined, a shine they cannot grind, Still now striving to survive, remain alive, inside. As long as I can greet the night Holding onto the light From all the stars they cannot hide Weeping at the sight If it requires to end this life I will say goodbye To save and grace what is to praise Embrace the pain and die. How long is it now meant to bleed ? Belying what was done The words they want us to believe The truth will break the thrones. The lines, defined, to separate our minds, Will see us unify, for the dream that still remains, alive.
