This one, this one for my fallen brothas
And we aint even in a, we aint in a regular war zone
This is supposed to be the place we call home
You know
But we still in a hostile environment

(In the back ground)
Cell phone -No a gun
Wallet -a gun
Hair Brush -It's a gun
Keys -A knife
Move it's ya life
Submit - It's ya life
Fight it ya life
Breath - No freeze
I got my hands - now get on ya knees
I got my palms to the sky - Get on ya knees
I got my hands up but I can't breath
Palms to the sky or triggers we squeeze

Because I'm gifted young and black, I'm under attack in fact
Each day a look at my society take me way back
To before Martin and Malcolm and separate fountains
Now I'm allowed to dine in Denny's but when I am out then
i got a target on my back and I aint talkin' bout a gang thang
Talkin' bout law enforcement, modern day slavery
Wy whip aint stolen, registration all valid, windows aint tinted, tail lights aint out then
Why i'm bein' stopped, my hands stay visible
No record but i'm still bein' treated like a criminal
I look like a suspect? You looking like the uni-bomber
You aint goin' face to face with ya karma
Cause what goes around is like a boomerang
Lynch ready for a neck one of these times you will hang
It aint a threat, I'm just teachin' yall the facts
Supposed to serve and protect, why don't they just teach yall how to act?

I often feel alone
No one's got my back and i can't hide
(I got my hands up, got my, got my hands up)
I often feel alone
Like no one's got my back I got my hands high
(I got my hands up, got my, got my hands up)
What can I do

We gettin' massacred relentless
as god is my witness, Im feelin' so vengeful, I can not forgive this
My momma is tellin' me that it is written that if I can't forgive i'm casted the same sentence
I know they gonna hate me but it's true
This the modern day holocaust and I am the Jew
Wanna take our firearms then they round us up
It ill be the last time you see me if they get me in that truck
And my light skin dude you can have the same fate
Cause your afro heritage is the source of they hate
So don't think you got a pass cause we all alike
The Terrance Howards to all of the Wesley Snipes
In that ride you just a nigga, a perp in a vehicle
ones a nightmare, imagine if it's 3 of you
I'm gettin' stopped with my nephew and he's 12 then
He already got his hands up and I didn't have to tell him

I often feel alone
No one's got my back and i can't hide
(I got my hands up, got my, got my hands up)
I often feel alone
Like no one's got my back I got my hands high
(I got my hands up, got my, got my hands up)
What can I do

I am Mike Brown, I am Felando, I am Walter Scott plastered on every channel
Media love the frenzy, the ratings they make revenue
But tell the whole story
Is what the news, they will never do
So you gotta do your research, your head on a swivel
Documented police reports to the candlelight vigils
And brother your money don't make you except
Cause you nothin' but a chimp to a high percentage
Of the force, of course all of them aint malice
But for a lot deception is they got damn prowess
We can retaliate with violence, or Martin Luther silence
Or pack our bags up to the motherland islands
But I'm still tryin' cause my voice is my shield
And my heart is my weapon and it's so hard to kill
Yet and still I still feel like I'm marked cause my hair a lil kinky and my skin a lil dark

I often feel alone
No one's got my back and i can't hide
(I got my hands up, got my, got my hands up)
I often feel alone
Like no one's got my back I got my hands high
(I got my hands up, got my, got my hands up)
What can I do

(I got my hands up, got my, got my hands up)
(I got my hands up, got my, got my hands up)

Cell phone -No a gun
Wallet -a gun
Hair Brush -Its a gun
Keys -A knife
Move its ya life
Submit - Its ya life
Fight it ya life
Breath - No freeze
I got my hands - now get on ya knees
I got my palms to the sky - Get on ya knees
I got my hands up but I can't breath
Palms to the sky or triggers we squeeze
