Beat O Matic

As known by his stage name BeatOMatic amongst his peers and fans, Letlhogonolo Wesley Masinda is a South African rapper, song writer and a producer. He started his music career in 2011 as a producer and later decided to unleash the ‘sleeping monster’ in him through his artistry which he attests to in one of his singles, “Started as a Dream”. Since then he has produced and released numerous hip hop singles and two non-commercial albums, something typically not expected from an upcoming artist. His beats have a hint of boom bap and a slightly wonky modern trap. He is a lyrically astute performer. His music has been well received and featured on the playlist of various Community Radio Stations, including his hometown’s Kurara FM’s Hip Hop programme, Lefatshe la Hip Hop for which he also made a jingle. He released his debut album titled Audiograph in February 2018, which is available for sale and live streaming across major online music stores. With his youthful exuberance and talent, he captures the ears of the older generation and entertains the younger generation.
