T.Kats. & The Core

Started in 1990 in Greenwich Village, New York. Founder and lead guitarist Terry Kats ("T.Kats.") describes the group's sound as, "A democratic approach to contemporary music from the '60's..." The result is an intense rock-oriented rhythm/funk style that is delivered with a new wave crunch. The group primarily played throughout the tri-state area, and appeared in such famous locations as "Sun Mountain Cafe", "L'amour East", and "CBGB's". T.Kats. & The Core procured their first official album in the Spring of 1995. The group prides themselves on their professional self-awareness, career-oriented focus, improvisational abilities, and performance skills.
