I’m driving in my car with the guitar beside me On a steep winding road leading to the top of the hill My thoughts are bright today I hope they last forever Maple trees escorting me on a journey I was waiting for  No matter where it leads I’m impatient to get there The asphalt is firm and grey the blue sky is turning dark But I really don’t care today I just want to arrive Safe and sound with my guitar I play every day I live  Chorus I see smoke on top of the hill and I wonder what it is Lightening is flashing now but I still feel no fear I know this is my day and I don’t want to let it go I drive as fast as possible to get there quickly  The smoke is dense here the road has left the rails behind The sky is black and stormy now the air is hot and dry Waiting for the rain falling on the ground I can’t forget Everything is hard and tricky the top of the hill in front of me  Despite the stormy weather and the road full of stones I’m getting near my goal without knowing what lies ahead I reach the top in time and quickly glance behind the hill To see it is a wild dream of mine in the middle of nowhere
