Michael Sterling

Michael Sterling is a renowned musician, singer, songwriter, and music producer from Miami, Florida. He began his musical career playing bass guitar for Latino singer Ray Fernandez. He then formed the group Silver Platinum and their 1981 hit single Dance was on the R&B charts at #28. Michael Sterling later joined the reggae group Inner Circle as a vocalist and lead guitarist. He released his first album The Artist which included the hit single Desperate in 1983. Sterling released and produced his fourth album No Such Animal in 1987 which included the hit singles One More Chance, Cheating While She's Wearing My Ring, Is It Still Good to Ya, and Holiday. He then established his own record label TSOM Records and produced hits for 2 Live Crew, MC Shy D, and other Miami bass rap groups. Michael Sterling was musical director for BMG Music artist Blu Cantrell. He is still writing, producing, and composing his albums today.
