It was certified a platinum single in November 2005 and is usually referred to as Relient K's most popular mainstream song, other than "Who I Am Hates Who I've Been". The song is Relient K's fourth most popular song on iTunes. The song has now officially been certified platinum in the US."Be My Escape" was featured in the 2006 Men's U. S.
