"Mine" is a futuristic R&B song, that contains trap elements, African beats with muted modern hip hop. Lyrically, Beyoncé reveals her everyday doubts regarding marriage and motherhood. "Mine" received critical acclaim from music critics, who praised the song's production, Beyoncé's vocal performance and the song's breakdown.
