Alana Grace is an American actress and singer-songwriter who is best known for her song "Black Roses Red" featured on the soundtrack of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. Alana Grace was born in Los Angeles, California, but moved with her family to Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 6. In Nashville, she attended Harpeth Hall. In 2002, at the age of 14, she was one of seven finalists chosen by music industry professionals at the second annual Nashville Grammy Showcase, hosted by the Nashville Chapter of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS). Grace is primarily a singer-songwriter, but has also studied dance and has acted in an NBC Movie of the Week and several TV specials, among them a TNN Entertainment Special.
