Geoff Byrd (born in Portland, Oregon on August 27, 1970) is an American musician. He has been credited as "the first artist to break into mainstream music by way of the internet." He is a singer/songwriter/producer/film maker who has written songs for country artist Samantha Landrum "I'm In Love," with John Oates and Jed Leiber on "1,000 Miles of Life," where they were nominated for a Nashville Music Award. Byrd co-wrote "When It Snows" with Jim Brickman, which went to #2 on the AC radio charts and is a perennial Christmas song (Byrd is the vocalist for that song as well). He also wrote top 40 Hot AC charting songs "Before Kings" along with internet hits "Silver Plated" and "When I Fall From Grace." (Radio Wave Monitor)
