The Program Exchange

Song parody of An Evening In June by Irving Aaronson & His Commanders

The Program Exchange,
It offered syndication shows,

The Program Exchange,
You'd advertise some stuff by General Mills,

In exchange for bills,
And some TV thrills,

Morning, night and noon!
The Program Exchange,
From DFS to Dorland, came
The Program Exchange,
The logos were a whirlwind you could love,
I keep thinking of,

How they aired their stuff,
It ended so soon,
See all the adverts playing,

From General Mills,
They paid the bills,
Then, people starting saying,
"It’s on the air,

Yet, how is it fair?"
With The Program Exchange,
It's ending's been debated, still,
The Program Exchange,
When ZenithOptimedia came through,
Programs left the view,
So did the ads too,
The Program Exchange!
