I can't be held responsible for my behavior
I lost all contact with my only savior
Please don't lock me out because I missed to phone ya
I can't bear to live forever like a loner

Don't let go of the coat
Don't let go of the coat
Don't let go of the coat
Don't let go of the coat

I seen you on a Tuesday morning
Everyone but me seems still to be yawning
I can write a letter and I'm gonna to ya
Am I gone blind thinking about you lot

Don't let go of the coat
Don't let go of the coat
Don't let go of the coat
Don't let go of the coat

I try to explain but you never understand it
I need your body but I can't just demand it

Don't let go of the coat
Don't let go of the coat
Don't let go of the coat
Don't let go of the coat

I can't be held responsible for my behavior
I lost all contact with my only savior
Please don't lock me out because I missed to phone ya
I can't bear to live forever like a loner

Don't let go of the coat
Don't let go of the coat
Don't let go of the coat
Don't let go of the coat

Keep singing
Don't let go of the coat
Keep telling myself now
Don't let go of the coat
That's why I'm singing now
Don't let go of the coat
Oo, Don't let go of the coat

Admitting to myself
Don't let go of the coat
Quit felling bad for myself
Don't let go of the coat
Just gotta look after myself
Don't let go of the coat
Oh, Don't let go of the coat
Don't let go of the coat
Don't let go of the coat
Don't let go of the coat
Don't let go of the coat
