You can make it if you try
You can make it if you try
You can make it if you try
Whoa, yeah
You can make it if you try

Sometime, you'll have to cry
Sometime, you'll have to lie
You're gonna live until you die
Whoa, yeah
You can make it if you try

If your baby treats you wrong
Don't go around singing the blues
Remember, my friend
Everybody can't win
Somebody, somebody's got to lose

You can make it if you try
You can make it if you try
You can make it if you try
Whoa, yeah
You can make it if you try
