The Browns

The Browns were an American country and folk music vocal trio best known for their 1959 Grammy-nominated hit, "The Three Bells". The group, composed of Jim Ed Brown and his sisters Maxine and Bonnie Brown, had a close, smooth harmony characteristic of the Nashville sound, though their music also combined elements of folk and pop. They disbanded in 1967. more »

Though you became a star used to a twinkle in his heart every night little sky princess
You're living on a cloud that will fall to the ground some day little sky princess
Go on with your career don't worry bout him dear he's doing okay
You live a life of gaiety that isn't reality I hope you'll realize someday
[ fiddle - guitar ]
Though you became a star used to a twinkle in his heart
Every night little sky princess
I wonder if he calls you on the phone would you be alone
And be proud to hear from him
Remember he's the little guy who have to get up to the sky
And he'll always be sorry
For the twinkle in his eye will stop twinklin' by and by
If you don't come down sky princess
