The Suicide Machines

The Suicide Machines are an American punk rock band formed in March 1991 in Detroit, Michigan and disbanded in May 2006. Since 2009, the band has occasionally played reunion shows. During the course of their career the band released six full-length albums on the labels Hollywood Records and Side One Dummy Records. Though they experienced several lineup changes over the years, founding members Jason Navarro and Dan Lukacinsky remained regular fixtures. The band's musical style initially blended elements of punk rock, ska, and hardcore into a genre popularly known as ska punk or "ska-core," which characterized their first two albums. I wish I had faith in something
I wish that I could find a way
And I wish you could change
How I wish I could too
When I look at all the things we've been through
I wish I had faith in someone
I wish there was another way
And I hope that you know
There's no other way
'Cause you dropped a bomb on me today

Can anybody tell me how things went so wrong
And please explain
How I go through life this way
Always on parade
You paint your smiles on everyday
Just try to be
Try to be happy being me
Then soon I'll see
If a leap of faith will set me free

I wish I had faith in something
I wish that I could find a way
And I wish you could change
How I wish I could too
When I look at all the things we've been through
I wish I had faith in someone
I wish there was another way
And I hope that you know
There's no other way
'Cause you dropped a bomb on me today

Can anybody help me? please throw me a line
Because I'm fading fast
I feel my life wasting away
And if I stay
I might end up like you one day
And that's not who
That's not who I want to be
Then soon we'll see
If a leap of faith will set me free

Don't think, don't speak, don't drag me down
Don't take me with you
Feels I've been holding on so long
Step back and slow it down and
Stand up and look around
My faith left town long ago

I wish I had faith in something
I wish that I could find a way
And I wish you could change
How I wish I could too
When I look at all the things we've been through
I wish I had faith in someone
I wish there was another way
And I hope that you know
There's no other way
'Cause you dropped a bomb on me today

'Cause you dropped a bomb on me today
'Cause you dropped a bomb on me today
'Cause you dropped a bomb on me today
