You

Rogue Wave

About You

"Nearly Lost You" is a song by the American alternative rock group Screaming Trees. It is the first single released in support of their sixth album Sweet Oblivion. Perhaps their best-known song, it was a moderate success on modern rock radio, partly because of its appearance on the soundtrack to the 1992 Cameron Crowe film Singles. In addition to the soundtrack, Nearly Lost You also appeared on the band's 1992 breakthrough album Sweet Oblivion. It also appears on the soundtrack to the 2007 baseball video game The Bigs, and is available as downloadable content for the Rock Band series, and is in the main soundtrack of Guitar Hero 5. The song was covered in 2013 by Rogue Wave.

Become A Better Singer In Only 30 Days, With Easy Video Lessons!

Hedge shapes narrowing
Brain stored in the freezer
Wind-tops bellowing
It's a creeper double-feature

Jaundiced and yellowing
I've always been a late bloomer
Shoe gaze shimmering
There's no season to see it, I needed that

One day I
One day I found you

Engines in the wind
And a heroes welcome
Pillows of recklessness
But you just pop your mouth off

Kiss the abdomen
Till it's less than perfect
Till it looks like everyone
Can get so conceited and need it, oh ya

One day I
One day I found you

One day I
One day I found you
