    Ian refers to buying a special train ticket with a discounted return fare that he uses to go and see his Dad who is gravely ill in the hospital. He is concerned whether his caretaker nurse is treating him well & finds it funny in a sadly ironic way that the nurse brings him a cuppa tea & asks for his autograph, never mind that he's here & logically quite taken with his father being at death's door.
