Therion

Therion (formerly Megatherion) is a Swedish symphonic metal band founded by Christofer Johnsson in 1987. The word "therion" comes from the Greek therion (θηρίον), meaning "Beast," i.e., that of the Christian Book of Revelation. However, the band's name is a homage to the Celtic Frost album To Mega Therion. more »

When I recall your name
I recall the time when Hermes and Orpheus
Wrote down the rhyme

Follow the emerald of eternity
Follow the path of Thor
And a path to Arcady

When I recall your name
I recall the time when the philosophers
Were striving for sublime

If you recall the name
You recall the sight of the perennial
And of the eternal light
