Same old bar stool same old story
Some things never change
Same old waitress gonna pour me
One more down the drain
They take my money from me and they
Smile and walk away
Same old story just another day

I’m wasting whiskey and borrowing wine
No it ain’t working but I keep on trying
I’ll drown this memory one sip at a time
Wasting whiskey and borrowing wine

There’s the table in the corner
Where you said good-bye
You were leaving it was over
I just sat and cried
After all this time you’d think that I could just let go
Waitress bring me one more for the road

Same old bar stool same old story
Some things never change
