Remember it? When I first met you

Locked eyes from across the dining room it was heaven-sent

Malevolent

I was over the moon

Happy, just to be in my presence got you wet

I had to be 19?

Knew you had your sights on me, like a fiend

Dreams you'd mention in public

Loud enough for me to hear, like I was your puppet

Or so you thought

I knew the game back then

I could see the special way you treated the men

However you could reel em' in and act like a friend

Who knows who we'd be without the words we bend?

Took advantage of the open ear that I'd lend you

Knew you were a broken soul and I had to mend you

And then I wrote "What I Do"

You were the damsel in distress that I would rescue

You were the damsel in distress that I would rescue

Thought you'd be the queen to my castle

Turned into a fuckin' hassle

Oh

F*ck with my friends like I don't know

Turned out to be just a hoe doe'

Oh

And baby you could'a had it all

Don't wait be the phone 'cause I ain't gonna call

No more

Yeah, aye

Baby you fucked with a real one

Hope that you learned how to feel somethin'

Ever since then it's like you played a game of pretend

Your love it comes and goes it's hot and cold just like the seasons

I spent my summer out in Houston

I came home and it was different, baby you were my reason

And then we finally got to fuckin'

I was 23

I could treat my age like it was nothin'

And the pictures ain't compare

I knew I shouldn't hit it I was truth and you were dare

Was like once you got to taste it

Comin' every night was a habit you couldn't fake it

I didn't think that we would make it

Convinced me to give you my heart and said you wouldn't break it

(Don't love her or she'll leave you, don't love her or she'll leave you)

Convinced me to give you my heart and said you wouldn't break it

(Leave you, leave you, leave you)

Thought you'd be the queen to my castle

Turned into a fuckin' hassle

F*ck with my friends like I don't know

Turned out to be just a hoe doe'

Baby you could'a had it all

Don't wait be the phone 'cause I ain't gonna call

No more

Yeah, aye

Baby you fucked with a real one

Hope that you learned how to feel one

Now that you know that the deals done

You probably just wanna feel numb

Baby I pray for you every single day, helps to remind that you ain't my soul to save

(Don't love her or she'll leave you, don't love her or she'll leave you)

I loved you, gave it a shot
(Leave you, leave you, leave you)

And I kept my eyes open

And thank God that I did

You were sextin' dudes like every moment

9 to 5 like it was your job full-time

Back in the hunt for a f*ck, what

You already had mine?

Really baby, while I was in the other room?

Addicted to attention just like Brandon is booze

Lying with your eyes it's what you do it's all you've done
(Thought you'd be the queen to my castle)

The mask it fits you perfect it's all in the name of fun
(Turned into a fuckin' hassle)

You're confused and I refuse to lose you can't control me
(F*ck with my friends like I don't know)

If it were a game then I guess it's safe to say you won
(Turned out to be just a hoe doe)

(Baby you could'a had it all)
(F*ck with my friends like I don't know)

(Don't wait by the phone 'cause I ain't gonna call)
(Turned out to be just a hoe doe)

Don't love her or she'll leave you

(No more)
(Oh)

If it were a game then I guess it's safe to say you won
(Yeah, aye)

(And baby you fucked with a real one)
(And baby you could'a had it all)

(Hope that you learned how to feel one)
(Don't wait be the phone 'cause I ain't gonna call)

(Now that you know that the deals done)
(No more)

(You probably just wanna feel numb)
(Yeah, aye)

Leave you, leave you, leave you
