Once upon a time
There lived an Angel in the clouds
They longed to go to Earth
But They were never aloud
Then one evening
As the sun began to set
They crept down the staircase
Where Heaven meets the Earth
They felt the Grass on their feet
Was the first time they'd ever seen
How green the Trees truly were
And a real life Human
Yes They met a Girl
And she didn't look afraid
Her eyes were as Wide as the Universe
She smiled and waved
She gave Them Food and Warmth

Didn't judge the Angel for their Wings
Or Sparkling skin
They changed the TV on to the News
The Angel cried
Because They never realised
The Hate in the world
The evil human Wars
The burning of the Trees
The dying of the Bees
The warming of the Earth
And the lack of Love and Compassion
They ran as fast as They could
Tried to convince the Girl
She should
Go with Them to Heaven but she refused
I have hope for the Earth
The Angel was confused
Then they hugged Goodbye
And they both shed a tear
The Angel went back to Heaven
And the Girl stayed on Earth
She thought about Them every day
The way they laughed and the way they
Smiled
And prayed that the memories never go away
And that they'll see each other
Again one day
