Voodoo Highway

Voodoo Highway is the second studio album by the American hard rock band Badlands. After their first album, drummer Eric Singer left the band to join KISS, and was replaced by drummer Jeff Martin, who had previously sung lead vocals in the bands Surgical Steel and Racer X. Bassist Greg Chaisson was instrumental in getting his friend Jeff Martin the gig with Badlands. Deliverance
From youself
Deliverance
From your past
Deliverance
From your Gods
Deliverance
It's way down inside
The answer to your doubt is a little lie
If I rise or if I fall
Take me back to the Satan's Ball
In medias res under the stars
I burn with a sacred fire
Take me back tonight
In the season of forgotten Gods
Spectre of the leaves they fall
Behind the surface a roundabout
A pervert fire
Bow yourself to the Lord
To the Lord of flies
If I rise or if I fall
Take me back to the Satan's Ball
In medias res under the stars
I burn with a sacred fire
Take me back tonight
In the name of Satan
Ruler of the Earth
Please hear me when
I ask you for your protection
Satan I pray for you to assist me
Satan
If I rise or if I fall
Take me back to the Satan's Ball
In medias res under the stars
I burn with a sacred fire
If I rise or if I fall
Take me back to the Satan's Ball
In medias res under the stars
I burn with a sacred fire
Take me back tonight
