Old farmer Joe has some horses and hay
And a great big old barn with an old wooden sleigh
Let’s gather the family and go for a ride
Joe says “Hold on tight!”

We’ll bring some cocoa and snacks for the ride
And we’ll bundle up tight with our mittens and scarves
There’ll be sleigh bells ringing, and we’ll all be singing
Our favorite songs

Old farmer Joe made some trails through his fields
And he’s got them lit up for a magical feel

When the ride’s over we’ll hop in the car
Turn the heat way up high though we’re not going far
And we’ll still be excited, telling our stories of
Riding through the snow

We’ll tell our friends of the fun that we had
And we hope they will try it, we know they’ll be glad
We look forward to hearing the stories they have
When they get back home

We’ll make some plans to go sleighing again
Only this time we’ll bring along some of our friends

This is the kind of family cheer
