Verse 1: This feeling has come over me, it's not what it's supposed to be and I'm in a daze. We both dived in, loved on a whim, we moved too soon and I’m confused. Is this just a phase? Want to believe we’ll make it through, survive this just like lovers do, but I’m not so sure. I'm feeling like we’ve given all that we could give and I’m here waiting and wanting more. I spent all this time, thought this was the goal. I swore we were two parts of one whole. I wished and I prayed to avoid this day. But I won't invest in illusions at best and keep loving this way.
