That´s the place where all evil breeds

Stay away, do you hear me dear?”

She was talking to a stone-deaf ear

 

Daddy told me: ”Don´t you touch a gun

Listen up, I don´t want my son

wasting years in a county jail”

I didn´t care for an old man´s tale

 

So now I´m staring down the barrel

God Almighty, what went wrong?

I´ll never know how long

it took this bullet to travel

and find me staring down the barrel

 

Preacher told me: ”Don’t you live in sin

Go confess, it might save your skin

Hail Mary´s breaking any spell”

Did I pray? Not a chance in hell
