I put in my coins with pride
And it feels so good inside
To do a mitzvah and give tzedakah

I give tzedakah for hungry children
And folks who need a helping hand
When I hear those coins go clink
It's no wonder that I think
It's a mitzvah to give tzedakah

There's so much love to give around

I give tzedakah to help sick people
And to keep Israel safe and strong
It's a feeling of such joy
For every girl and boy
