Braveheart is a 1995 American historical drama film directed and co-produced by Mel Gibson, who portrays Sir William Wallace, a late-13th-century Scottish warrior. The film depicts the life of Wallace leading the Scots in the First War of Scottish Independence against King Edward I of England. Don't ask me why
You won't get a good answer
You wont be satisfied
Bet you'd rather be enemies
Now, don't ask me why
But isolation is calling my name
It just feels better to keep the curtains closed, all alone
Decay silently
Nobody knows when to show
Each day a little more sleep
To shelter from that which glows so bright and painfully
Piercing our recovery
Last chance, wounded again
Contemplate to no end
Was I ever enough for you?
Was I ever enough for you?
Don't ask me why
You won't get a good answer
You wont be satisfied
Bet you'd rather be enemies
Now, don't ask me why
But isolation is calling my name
It just feels better to keep the curtains closed, all alone
Don't you know?
This time's defined by scarcity
Don't you know?
There's no getting it back
Let it go?
Get haunted by the memories
Don't you know?
Don't you know?
Don't ask me why
You won't get a good answer
You wont be satisfied
Bet you'd rather be enemies
Now, don't ask me why
But isolation is calling my name
It just feels better to keep the curtains closed, all alone
Was I ever enough for you?
Was I ever enough for you?
