Grandfather was a hero, Grandma was Queen of the land
Got a fire single mother, Mom was doing what she can
The Man entered the picture, & there was greatness among us
Said he took a new position, we were moving to Columbus
And it stunned us, but we rolled with it, Apprehensive? Very
Now I got 2 lil brothers, Rod & Londa getting married

Momma praying for her Husband, asking God to let him back in to the Kingdom
Over time, their marriage mended, & their children just observed

And now we staring at Death
Pops is telling us he ready, cool, but We ain't there just yet
As we gather round his bed, watching him take his Final breath
This the story of a fam who went from needing intervention
To intention, being honest? this the story of redemption
Did I mention, people wrote us off, & thought that we would fall
But we made it, cuz when God is for you , He works through it all
