Frank Powell (born Francis William Powell, May 8, 1877) was a Canadian-born stage and silent film actor, director, producer, and screenwriter who worked predominantly in the United States. He is also credited with "discovering" Theda Bara and casting her in a starring role in the 1915 release A Fool There Was. Her performance in that production, under Powell's direction, quickly earned Bara widespread fame as the film industry's most popular evil seductress or on-screen "vamp". more »

He likes to drink, he likes to fight
He can't he'p it, he wasn't raised right
Did a little dealin' make a buck
His Momma says he's a good boy he's just down on his luck
He's done every crime, every drug that was for sale
He's headed toward that tunnel on a high speed rail

He's headed toward that tunnel, no way to turn around
His caution and his conscience they are nowhere to be found
He wouldn't even be here but his Momma posted bail
He's headed toward that tunnel on a high speed rail

He likes to drink, he likes to fight
He can't he'p it, he wasn't raised right
Did a little brawlin' in the mud, he only gets meaner at the sight of his blood
He's about as subtle as a hammer on a nail
He's headed toward that tunnel on a high speed rail
He's headed toward that tunnel, no way to turn around
His caution and his conscience they are nowhere to be found
He wouldn't even be here but his Momma posted bail
He's headed toward that tunnel on a high speed rail

He likes to drink, he likes to fight
He can't he'p it, he wasn't raised right
Did a little stealin' all over town, he figured it was his if it wasn't nailed down
He got his last guitar at a five fingered sale
He's headed toward that tunnel on a high speed rail

He's headed toward that tunnel, no way to turn around
His caution and his conscience they are nowhere to be found
He wouldn't even be here but his Momma posted bail
He's headed toward that tunnel on a high speed rail

He's headed toward that tunnel, no way to turn around
His caution and his conscience they are nowhere to be found
He wouldn't even be here but his Momma posted bail
He's headed toward that tunnel on a high speed rail
He likes to drink, he likes to fight
He says, "What else is there to do on a Tuesday night?"
