Flashbulb Eyes

Reflektor is the fourth studio album by Canadian indie rock band Arcade Fire, released on October 28, 2013, through Sonovox Records internationally and Merge Records in the United States. A double album, it was recorded between 2011 and 2013 at studios in Montreal, Jamaica, and Louisiana. It was co-produced by LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy, regular Arcade Fire producer Markus Dravs, and the band themselves. Influenced by Haitian rara music, the 1959 film Black Orpheus, and Søren Kierkegaard's essay "Two Ages", Reflektor's release was preceded by a guerrilla marketing campaign inspired by veve drawings and the release of the title track as a limited edition single credited to the fictional band The Reflektors on September 9, 2013. The landline is calling
Can't stand another message
Torn apart by it all
Enter the withdrawal
Whispers from a withered past
Is it still meant to last?
I don't care what you say
So I'll be out on my way
I drew blood but it wasn't enough
Scarred, stoned and now handcuffed
If your hearts not there, then why should I care?
Just let me be free
Don't stay humoring me
It's been months but I'll still see the stain
The memory driving me insane
Why can't you see that it'll never be the same?
And it's not even of question of who's to blame
Landline
No longer mine
Til the end of time
Not worth a dime
Landline
No longer mine
Til the end of time
Not worth a dime
You could've had me fooled
If you really wanted to
But your actions spoke for you
Now let me speak
Messages mean nothing if the the receiver isn't there
Or if the messenger doesn't dare to care
Til the end of time
Just cut the line
Never again, never again, never again
Still can't pretend, still can't pretend, still can't pretend
Never again, never again, never again
Still can't pretend, still can't pretend, still can't pretend
Landline
No longer mine
Til the end of time
Not worth a dime
When it's lost
What's the cost?
Cut the line (No longer Mine)
When it's lost (Til the end of time)
What's the cost?
Cut the line (Not worth a dime)
When it's lost (Landline)
What's the cost?
Cut the line (No longer Mine)
When it's lost (Til the end of time)
What's the cost?
Cut the line (Not worth a dime)
Landline
