Summer  colors lighting up the moorland
When the goblin winds and their twisted fingers stretched across the land
Did you walk among the  heather one more  time

Did you stop to see the lilies in their prime Lady Di
And those beautiful red roses in St James
As the sunlight pierced the morning did you cross the channel side
To see dew form on forget-me-nots one more time

As if royal duty hastened you along
With their mothers and their fathers sorely weeping at their side
While your dearest try to make sense of it all

The princess bride who few so high across our misty skies

Could you turn a blinded eye to our common crime
The wicked dogs were unrelenting & we stood idly by
