I put my feelings to the side
I put my emotions to the sword
I'm thinking straight for the prize
I know i'm closing on to God
I see my brothers on the street
They don't see no law and order peace
We don't need no violent police
They killing the future God forbid

We still saying end SARS
But the government ain't ours
We protest for many hours
But they censor us
Separate and rank us
With despair and rancour
City dangerous
I don't see no help for us
Unless we rise on ten toes
And protect us
Cause they trying to arrest us, today is real

Yah yah
I'm getting so pissed off I cry blood
I'm getting so pissed off I die for it
I'll rather fight today then tomorrow be alive sovereign
The freedom is for the youth that's why we want it

And I speak for You, you and you heh
Brother, sister, cousin too
Mother, father, bae and boo
So take no losses stay so true
Let's end police brutality
For the future of the youth
For the sake of our beloved country too
I say we can

What many people, especially in the north don't know today is that
The government wants to see you down
They don't want to see you doing something positive oh
Cause that's how they can take advantage of you
And they will take advantage of you

Yeah
Break my back, I break my bones
I break my bank to fight for truth
Take my facts, and check my notes
If I don't sing a survivors tune
I stand by what is right by me
I was tortured silently
Behind the concrete cell
I saw the writing on the wall
They know we rise the more they fall
So now we ride for all or null
I exercise the right to ball
I exercise the right to smoke weed And dread my hair until it curls
Don't tell him he must kiss a girl
Don't tell her she must kiss a guy
We like to experiment and high
I'm still in tune

And what's the true meaning of freedom
I mean we have these laws against marijuana and homosexuality
Meanwhile, corrupt politicians steal billions yearly
In the name of grants and allowances
I mean, it's bigger than this

E.N.D.S.A.R.S E.N.D.S.A.R.S E.N.D.S.A.R.S

The whole END SARS movement is more than just the injustice of the SARS
It goes down, deep into the government
To the political system that doesn't allow the freedom of the mind
That doesn't allow the freedom of expression
That doesn't allow the freedom of the being
That subjugates us to the corrupt ways
That has been provided us by our colonial masters
And it's still put in us till today
That's what we're fighting against

I have a dream, that one day this nation will rise up
And live out the true meaning of its creed
We hold this truths to be self evident that all men are created equal
I have a dream
