We were playing guitars and
Trying to sing some of our favourite songs back then
We weren't brilliant musicians like Ed
We were just trying to make our day
But nowadays a lot has changed
I'm drinking tea all alone and im not okay

When you were telling jokes, we laughed out loud
Then when I tried to be funny you decided to go out
To meet some friends and to share some love
And we had fun even when days were tough

Now I'm looking at this night sky full of stars
And I just cannot accept the fact that you are so far
And even though I miss those years
I have to get over it and try to get used to these tears

We were roaming through the streets with the boys by moonlight
We spent like that almost all night
Talking about life, about our rights, about a good guys and a bad guys
And now I'm here writing this song we haven't talked for so long
And it has to be this way, I guess cause you seem happier with new friends
