Beverly Kenney ( born January 29, 1932, in Harrison, New Jersey – died April 13, 1960, in New York City) was an American jazz singer. Her cover of "It's A Most Unusual Day" was featured in a Lincoln automobile TV advertisement in 2021. Though she was relatively unpopular in the U.S. in the 1950s, a critic praised her in 1959, saying, "She could be tomorrow's big name." Those prospects were cut short following an unprecedented death by suicide a year later. more »
