Meteora is the second studio album by American rock band Linkin Park. It was released on March 25, 2003, through Warner Bros. Records, following Reanimation, a collaboration album which featured remixes of songs included on their 2000 debut studio album Hybrid Theory. The album was produced by the band alongside Don Gilmore. The title Meteora is taken from the Greek Orthodox monasteries originally bearing the name. Meteora has a similar sound to Hybrid Theory, as described by critics, and the album took almost a year to be recorded. It is the first Linkin Park studio album to feature bassist Dave Farrell after he rejoined the band in 2000 after temporarily touring with other bands. Meteora debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, selling over 810,000 copie… more »

Watch: New Singing Lesson Videos Can Make Anyone A Great Singer

I know my life's over
Nobody hears me trapped in a coma
Can't keep lying to myself like this
Can't stay drunk, can't stay sober
An endless cycle
Claw for the light that I need, it's vital
Got this burn in the back of my throat
Can't end up like anyone's idol
Just shades of grey
Didn't burn out just faded away
Banging my head on the edge of the toilet
Life's not a game and I don't wanna play
It's a broken tape
Don't know how much more I can take
Nobody cares when I feel okay
But everyone knows that the pain's not fake
Nothing more
Nothing less
Mind is void
I'm a mess
Hate my life
I am null
Carve a number two onto the front of my skull
When I step in the booth it kills me
But it's worth it to know you feel me
I haven't seen my old man in months
Lord knows I feel guilty
Just wanna be guilt-free
Spit fire to let the chills see
My therapist hides my darkest secrets
The monster's still free
Open my mind, jump in the portal
Drown in vomit, can't see the snorkel
They say that legends never die
At least I know I am not immortal
Carrying weight like heaving a stone
Won't text back don't leave me the phone
I'm not talking about an ex-girlfriend
When I say that the past won't leave me alone
Nothing more
Nothing less
Mind is void
I'm a mess
Hate my life
I am null
Carve a number two onto the front of my skull
Say I'm getting better, I never will
There's something here I can never kill
Take another shot pop a Benadryl
In vain my body is terror-filled
I never lied for the sake of it
My bulimia gave me my greatest hit
Russian roulette any time that I eat
Only thing I can taste is sick
I thought by now I'd adjust
Mirror mirror, filled with disgust
Eroding myself from the inside out
Tongue of bile throat of rust
I know I've caused my own death
A heart attack from a burning chest
I could weigh the same as I did when I was born today
I'd still wanna be five stone less
Nothing more
Nothing less
Mind is void
I'm a mess
Hate my life
I am null
Carve a number two onto the front of my skull
