Well mamma asked me to meet her at a school dance

She is about your size and she looks like you

Judy became a sister and friend
The day her bus arrived the time we would spend

Amazing and  beautiful inside and out
One of a kind that there was no doubt
So generous and loyal, caring and smart
Funny and loved, a part of my heart

On Sunday we gathered to pay tribute to her
A piece missing my thoughts were a blur
A hole in my heart that no one could fill
Blessed to have known her it doesn't seem real

We talked most recent of the fibers of our souls
Intertwined by time as if etched in scrolls
Someday she will wait for me to get the bus too
She'll recognize me the girl that looks like you
