I guess I changed a lot
I had used this beat once before
But the song never was released
This was supposed to be the second to ever to record

Yet here I stand now using it for another use
I wonder if the older was better than this
But I don't think it is

My life has become these letters
Ascending, this hobby takin over
But it may be for the better
Having this creative outlet
Has helped me improve in a lot of ways

I somehow feel more energetic when I go through my days
Got some pep in my step
The steps lessen as I take longer strides

I used to stay lowly
But now I feel I have some pride
I feel happy
I can now look into the mirror and say aloud

I don't hate the way I look
I feel less pain around others
When my tears used to stain my covers
I would resort to cleaning out the cupboards

Stressfully eating, not gaining weight cause of my metabolism
Repeating the things that made me have stress, it wasn't best for living
But now I can appreciate the things that I've been given
But now I can sit and feast upon the roots from which my tower has risen
I can say this rap shit made me feel the best I have in a minute
NO KIDDING

Been on top of my mind
This took a lot of my time
This took all sorts of healing
Some realizations forced revealing

Wish it would have happened sooner
But I guess it's better now than later
Now I can grow on and on
I'm glad that I'm becoming greater

Glad that I'm becoming better
Glad that my life has become these letters
Wishing that I could see my past
Tell my younger self that this hell will soon pass

Pondering what would have happened
