The sun goes up
The sun goes down
I don't fear you
I fear the dawn
I fear the sun coming on

It's coming up
It's burning up

It's coming up
It's coming up
It's burning up
It's coming up

It's coming up
It's burning up
It's coming up
It's burning up
It's burning up

If these words come out too simple
Please forgive my grammar

When my feelings disappear
Then I will learn to love
It's nothing complicated
Like hitting with the hammer

The sun goes down when I tell it to
But the sun comes up when it wants to

Not this time

Oh no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no
(No, you don't)

No, you don't
No, you don't
No, you don't
No, you don't

If these words come out too simple (no, you don't, no, you don't)
Please forgive my grammar (no, you don't, no, you don't)

Ooh

This is nothing complicated
Like hitting with the hammer

When my feelings disappear
Then I will learn to love you
