Climbing up that mountain pass

Those wheels kept rolling
Across the plain
Through the border towns
With the music playing on

So we settled on
The southern shores of Portugal
Nothing much to do at all
Mazie days and lazy ways
The sun goes wall to wall each day

We were lost in time

Freedom changes every mind
Forget about the daily grind
Find a place to find some time

A hundred days we pushed on
Down the open road to nowhere
No-one knows we're driving there at all

Went northward bound up the coast
Cantabria still bathed in snow
Sailing back across the Bay
Sit and watch the ocean go
Time on our hands to think about the days

Wish we could go back to that place
