I know what I want, I ain't gonna settle for nothing less

I've been shot by the arrow
I've been put to the test
I've made it through without a scratch but I got shot in the chest

It's Bittersweet the way doing it
Just praying I don't ruin it
And when I find the one I hope it's good and I go through with it
And trust me I ain't new to it

Just never did it proper
Was told that I ain't shit, and I had nothing to offer

Man it's different when you hate it
But you want it and they poking and they prodding
Just be patient, let me see my options

Further explore the opportunities
Outside my community

But they ain't fooling me
It gets lonely late at night, and my mind is steady wishing for it foolishly

But I've been careful cause it distracts me more than anything else
And I'm scared I'll get to a place that there ain't anything felt
Love is not a race, let me find this shit out for myself

And don't judge me cause I got a lotta names on my belt
That don't define my worth
