I woke up in the morning, fatigue was in my bones
I did a couple stretches then I looked up at my phone
I took a hit of nic', raspy was the tone
Just like every morning, I wasn't in the zone

Then I hopped outta' bed, I tried to fix my hair
I made myself some lunch and then I started on my day
I just left the house, quiet as a mouse
Early in the morning, it was dark as f*ck out

And I drag my ass to work, always thinking about the music
Man it's really fucking stupid, rather stay at home and do this
But I gotta make my money, move on with my day
Cause at the end of every one of them I gotta get paid

To make my Dreams Come True
Or I'll be Timbuktu
Or I'll be another dreamer that never made it out the booth
But I gotta admit, there's some days that I get lazy
Come home from a job I hate working feeling hazy

I take a quick nap or I get lost in a movie
Cause my mental problems hit me at weird times when I'm cooling
But I'm tryna stay groovy, I try to stay cool
I try to stay punctual, when I'm not in the mood

I realize that the journey will have ups and downs
Definitely a lot of smiles but don't forget the frowns
I'm tryna paint a picture as I jot this down
But there's a lot to say

I'm getting better by the second, I'm improving every record
Getting comfortable with evolving and fighting for what is better
Crescendo with the letters, I orchestrate my endeavors
Get familiar with my pleasures, Forever searching for the treasures
That this game is involved with

Like a bad ex, man this shit can get toxic
Sometimes you gotta really learn the hard way
Like I did up in the hallways

I went to many different classes that weren't useful to me
I got way too many passes that weren't fruitful for me
I got taught by many teachers that were students to me
I've seen a couple cheeky leaches, they all losers to me

I know a couple cool artists only in it for the money
People think they're smarter but they're clouded by the dummies
They say they have a appetite, but barely get the munchies
I'll showed them how my rapping's like, I'm still getting hungry

But at the end of the day, when I lie down and settle
When the thoughts are getting deeper, eyes are heavy like metal

I turn on a flick to listen to before the night, ends
I hit the light then I try to fall asleep

Everybody's got a purpose man, don't be a fool
There's people that really love you more than you love you
You might think that you're missing something, though that might be true
But you gotta keep trying, that's how your Dreams Come True
