Authorities knock on your door
Everyday because it's quietly noisy
The chalk on concrete
And all around the sightings of literal birds and bees
Another dog, another walk
Another greeting with the same old useless talk
Once you're in, there's no going back
The entrance is the exit, one way out of this cul-de-sac
And then you're back to the magnet
Another night of dinner convo, binge-watching, and a blanket
This is interfering with my dreams
I'm tired of this ticky-tacky life, so my yawn turns into a scream
