They showed us respect

They were building communities
No longer involved
With all the negativity bestowed on them all
Atoned by the law they rose above all
Blessed are the people
Who taught me these live lessons
A tribute to y'all
For teaching me what respect is
Ninety five was a moment
I will never forget
Living in paradise on my island
Life was in check
My folks were away on vacay
To clear they head
Oblivious to the horrors that was up ahead

That a storm was brewing
